Still in London. Wandered round Camden for a bit, now near Kings Cross in a nice litter internet cafe. Never been to Camden before. It's an interesting place. Loads of neon / cyber hippie / goth type shops and stalls, it's pretty buzzing. The thing really noticed was the 'look' of all the people (perhaps not all - just go with it for now) and all the shops are the same. It's trying to be different, but it has got its own brand and image - I guess it's working. Reminds me a bit of Amsterdam, perhaps crossed with a film set. I felt a bit of an outsider in a suit. Suite in the boot.
I bought the worst box of matches ever today. Made in Slovakia for Samaco Ltd. London N1 6JD, these matches ignited for a nano-second before going out. Not enough time for the wood to catch light. Even in zero wind conditions. Had to use a bundle of 5 to get a light. Awful habit. Lighting matches. Out of the macro view of my day, back into the 'bigger picture'..(Catching up on the ups and downs of work email.. again). It's cool in one sense that one can work / communicate / do stuff from anywhere, but there is still this remote "can't really get my teeth into fixing" some of the problems that are kicking off at work. Ahh well. We'll all still be here on Monday. So will the problems. Going out tonight with mate from work who lives down here.
Missing family.. They are coming to meet me in London tomorrow, and we are off to a family re-union in Shipton Bellinger (no idea if that's spelt right, or where it is.). There. That's sort of got a beginning, middle and end, so I think I'llsignoffnowbcausethespacebaronthiskeyboardhasbroken.

In London at the moment. Am down here for a meeting that I had this morning. Yes. This very morning. Went out for some beers with Simon B last night. Did some cheesyt wandering rouind west end. went into the trockodera etc. Today I'm now pretty clear, so I've popped round to Mark N (Osymyso) and am sat in his studio/pad thing place. Just about to go out and grab a snack, and maybe a new T shirt from the shop downstairs.
So - Mark reccons that this blogging malarkey is a bit "Dougie Houser MD" - the bit at the end of the programme when he did a diary of the recent events - and it came up on an old school green screen. Very hi tech. right. Done.

Just had a fantastic email - got to share this snippet...
"...it may sound a bit freaky but i am now a dragondrop addict, some days i even dragondoubledrop...." Lisa Tilley
Thanks Lisa !
Apart from fantastic emails like that, I've had a pretty 'slimline life' week - to much work. A nice problem to have I guess - As my Dad used to say "If the wheels are turning, you know you're earning" bless him. (Wonder if you can get the internet in heaven? - if you can, please email and let me know) worked till daft o'Clock last night (23:38) and got in this morning roughly on time. back to it I guess.

Superb day / night yesterday. It started out with a small plan of having a couple of friends over for dinner (Mark R and Vic), and turned into a full on dinner party of 11. Top skills by Ben, on the cooking - superb curry(s) - nice one.Hangovers are not that good. Trashed the days plans so far already. Intended to do a car boot sale this morning, but did not - Mark N came to meet us there as well. How bad did I feel when we were not there ? So - Eirene and the kids have gone with Mark R back to his house to get something, and there are still a few people asleep here. Mark R did not realise that we had (again) drawn a big beard and glasses on him with fat pens once he passed out. Good laff. anyway - lets see what the day brings. hopefully nothing to hectic.

Fantastic. A barcode generator.Click here for your own barcode. Very handy. Quite fancy getting some stickers made up and wandering round 24 hour ASDA and replacing random barcodes on tins of beans and packets of polo's.

Oh my God.... They killed Terri..
The last episode of 24 was fantastic. True 24 style - left it as a cliff hanger. Found out that there is another series coming out next year.
Today I ended up sat in a traffic jam for most of the afternoon, after a lorry fell over on the A1 blocking 2 lanes. Found a Pink Floyd tape and listened to that. Home time now I think.

Feeling a bit rough today after a spectacular birthday bash for Bongo's 30th. It was a great night. Loads of people, some we have known for years, some new acquaintances. Got to see sunrise. Now both the boys are back at Dragondrop, after their own little adventures. Eirene is making a Sunday Roast (Mmmmm!) and tonight really is the very last 24 episode ever. (previously, I falsely reported as last week was the finishing week) Any way - off to ASDA (now also 24 hours !) now.

it's gotten all warm and muggy. I didn't get to see any shooting stars :( but Eirene, went out of town with Tinana and saw loads. :) Just found an interesting looking site - http://blog.hotornot.com you can vote on blogs from 1 to 10 on how 'hot' they are. If you notice ours, be kind ! - I'll publish the results once it's been rolling for a bit.

Rain Rain and more rain. That's what's been happening. Is it a global change in the weather incarnate, or is this normal ? I think it's normal - these conditions are probably just a tiny blip on the grand scheme of things.
Got a new phone - a Sony Ericsson 68i. Want to get into MMS. It's got a built in camera (some pix to follow soon) very happy with it.
Great weekend. Went to Vicky's birthday party - a garden party, and the rain decided to stop for it ! fantastic BBQ (lamb tastic in fact). Loads of nice people. Guitars, Drums (Congas, Bongo's Djembe) provided the atmosphere, with help from a pile of beers. Slept in Humbrum. When we got home, I got on with the project of setting up a home cinema ! borrowed a TV card from Simon (Thanks mate!) - net result after standard windows 'new thing happening - better crash and cause a few problems' nightmares the net result was an 8' cinema screen at one end of our room, with top quality sound. Intended to watch the last 24, but was told that it's next week ! Ahh well.
Back at work today. About 5 meetings this week, so this is the quiet before the storm.

Hello. It has been a while since our last blog but we have been busy so I shall make up for my tardiness now. Friday was Simons birthday pub-crawl. Met at the Weatherspoons pub (how u spell it I don’t know!). Everyone said that it is huge and they weren't joking. The weather cleared into a beautiful evening, which we took full advantage of by sitting outside. Simon loved his present of a severed green robotic hand, voice activated for extra amusement and mantle piece madness. My only complaint is that they don’t have salt and lime for tequila shots. What is a birthday without tequila? What is a pub without salt and lime? So we had to make do with a catalogue of lethal shots as chosen by nick (well done). Saturday we went to baby Finlays welcoming party. Fi and Ian layed on a fantastic feast and bbq and beer (nothing better to cure the night before) while the kids played all day on the bouncy castle and ball pool. Although Felix seemed to enjoy entertaining three ladies (average age 3 1/2) in Finlays room. A sign of things to come I think. Sunday we chilled and watched big beach boutique on video (courtesy of heather) with roger and relived all those Brighton moments while trying to see us in the crowd of 245000 (not likely). Then it was 24's penultimate episode arrrrgh cant wait till next week for the conclusion. In a way I don’t want it to end as it has been going on since before Australia. Sundays wont seem quite the same. And today our BIG news is we have a other new arrival to Dragon Drop. I would like to welcome misty a grey and cream amber eyed Persian to the chaos that we live in. She is beautiful 3 years old and very friendly. lets hope that Casper and Jasper feel the same. Look out for photo coming as soon as matt downloads his next lot. So there we have it a full on weekend and a newcomer I don’t think life is ever boring here.
