hello. Here is the begining of another week after a great weekend. Went to Toys R Us with Simon Matt and of course the kids to buy a tractor for Felix (a pressie from simon and maria). Had lots of fun racing around on tractors and go-karts and bought felix an amazing tractor with a trailer for jaygo to sit in or really to fall out of oops. Sunday we chilled and watched lots of voyager with a surprise visit from simon who couldnt get back to london as all the trains were down due to the bad weather. I think I saw my first snow cloud today but it passed before i ccould be sure, I wonder how long it will be before it snows? I cant wait to go sledging again.

Latest watchcam collection now online - "Felix is 4"
Since the last blog, we had a superb hungry caterpillar for Felix's 4th birthday. First, Felix was a caterpillar - a green dragon suite did the trick here, then Felix was a cocoon (assisted by a brown sleeping bag). He then went on to be a freshly emerged butterfly, who dried it's wings whilst resting belly down on the floor with his arms stretched out for a few minutes, followed by the donning of butterfly wings, then, the beautiful butterfly, flitting round the house - it was magical !
We have also got out new sofa ! - a massive thing, very comfy, in DragonDrop purple.

Sat on a tran at the moment, on my way to Peterborough. Superb sunrise this
morning. Rowdy bright pink clouds, broken by the huge orange sun. Smile.
it's a new day. Felix's birthday today.. missed his prezzy opening, because
I had to set off at daft O'Clock this morning.. but had nice phone call
of... my little 4 year old. 4 years.. have flown.

Hello. Today I have mostly been preparing for felixs birthday party. I think I am almost as excited as he is. We are hoping to wake up before him in the morning as matt is up at daft oclock and surprise him with breakfast in bed. A fantastic way to start a day of partying and sweetie eating. I love it when the kids have birthdays . They can do whatever they want watch stupid amounts of telly and eat sweets til they are sick chase the cats, basically anything goes. Managed to write the first paragraph of my story last night before a very drunken chris staggered in clutching a bottle of vodka and a carton of cranberry juice. i am sure you can see why I only got to the end of the intro I think if I had continued it wouldnt have deffinately gone off on a tipsey tangent and who knows where it would have ended up. Maybe a project for another time.

Hello I am sat at the desk typing this with Casper our original cat nosing at the keys while sat on my lap. It has been a while since she has shown anyone here any great affection really since misty arrived (I think it put her nose right out). They hey are going to have to all learn to get along as it is going to be a proper cold winter this year (I am hoping for lots of snow).Felix and I shopped for sparkles and other materials to make things for and at his b'day. Am I a glutton for punishment expecting 8 small people to sit and play with glitter and make butterflies at 3.00 in the afternoon? I too have my doubts but we shall see. The dragon drop inhabitants have succumbed to the stomach bug sweeping Britain but it doesn't seem to be holding anyone back as everyone bar me is off doing things this evening (so long as they aren't too far from a toilet). My evening shall mostly be spent writing a new kids short story so all wishes of luck will be gratefully received.
Ciao
PS DJ shadow will be playing Leeds tomorrow. How good would that be?

hello. Tonight is the strongest full moon that has occured in the past 3 years so any odd feelings, happenings, emotions can i think be attributed to that. it feels like the first day of winter so cold and wet ending with a proper sherlock holmes fog descending. The kids and I spent the day in knaresborough visiting old friends after felix and I arrived at a very closed playschool first thing this morning. Im sure that it wont be the first time that happens. Fitted ez's carpet which went really well even with the three small people bounding about on it making dens in the offcuttings. Then home for chinese takeaway. Nice.......

Hello, it has been again so long since my last blogg I feel quite out of touch. I will try and make it my early resolution to enter cyberspace after the kids go to bed. Have had a great weekend. Met up with Tinana and Denise at Montys then on to crabtrees to swim in the obligitory pitcher of vodka and redbull. 4 pitchers later and it was offf to Kaths house (old school mate recently moved homw and her room hasnt changed a bit since I was last there age 16) then to the Harrogate Arms to dance the night away. Felt 17 all night and loved it. V.sore nech the next day from all the moshing. Next day went to an Alternative healing fair in Ilkley ( my first big trip out in Humbrum which also involved reverse parking on a busy road without killing ourselves or innocent passers by well I suppose they could have popped into the fare for some reiki).Lots of stalls and interesting poeple also doing aura photography (would love to see felix ans jaygos aura) and best of all a stall upstairs with fantastic carrot cake. We ate in the van then set offff home arriving tired and just in time to hear Matt Collins birthday surprise shout via matts mobile. Lovely birthday party lots of great people a dj and bonfire charades rounded off my saturday perfectly and I crawled home early with maria not going wrong via the Bilton Hilton this time. So I am in Darlington with Matts relatives looking after the kids so I can write this. Felix's birthday on thursday. he is having a hungry catapiller fancy dress birthday party. He wants to go as a cocoon!

Interesting week, most of it.. interesting, apart from Wednesday, which for the most part was a bad luck day. A highlight was getting back in touch with some old friends (Rumy and Sylvère) from Amsterdam, who are having a baby. Looking forward to hooking up with them when I go over.
Wigg has published his photo's from Fionn's party last weekend.
Also found out that Vicki (sorry - not a very nice photo!), Bongo and Les are also going to be over there when we are!)
We are doing this thing now - Water only on Mondays and Thursdays. It's supposed to be good for you.
So the week was a bit like this...
Monday - Had a client over from Dublin during the day, on the evening, we got our hotel for Amsterdam sorted out. Very nice it is as well - A 5 star down town pad that we got amazing rates at.
Tuesday - Not much occurring.
Wednesday - Had a horrible morning, everything went wrong. I had to go to the bank - got there for just before 09:00 - pushed for time, as I had a 10:30 in York. The bank, decided not to be open, until 09:30 on Wednesday. Went to a meeting in York. Couldn't find a parking space, eventually found one about 15 mins walk form my meeting, and it started chucking it down.. no coat. Decided to find another parking space, got there with 5 mins to spare, meaning that I had to run to my meeting. After the meeting, got back to the car, checked my mails, everything was going wobbly with my projects back at the office. Tried to start the car - no joy. Had to call the RAC out, who said that I had a broken battery. Had it fixed. back at home spent the afternoon, sorting projects, when I wanted to get some proposals written (from home). Ahh well - it wasn't all bad.. Humbrum was fixed, she now runs like a dream, tested the Hills Absinthe that Dave brought me back from CZ Republic. Got in touch with Rumy and Sylvère. Had a cool chat - discovered that Rumy runs a blog - its tops as well.
Thursday - Wrote proposals, sorted out my projects.
Friday - only just started. Power brews are great.

Not a great deal has happened since the last blast of content. Something new to look forward to - a Stag weekend in Amsterdam. There's about 7 of us, and I know about 3 others. Dave C being one of them. We are off on the 8th of November, for a couple of days, so if your over there at that time, or know anything interesting that's happening, let me know ! Not sure what the plans are just yet, but I dare say it will involve, clubs bars and lots and lots of walking. Looking forward to it. I've normally got a bit longer to build up for it - this one is only a couple of weeks away. It will also be the first Amsterdam adventure for my colour wristwatch camera. There are some black and white wristcam shots here (2000) and here (2002).

Went to a house party last night at Fionn's - it was Fionn's 30th birthday. (Happy birthday!) Loads of really nice people there - met some new people, met some people who I haven't seen in years. 2 x DJ's spinning techno, then deep house, then tribal type stuff, then techno. Haven't heard the likes of Dave Clark's 'Thunder' fro the Red 5 album, in a few years !
Tonight (I think) we are off out on another birthday bash - a meal at a tapas bar. Slop and beans, washed down with Spanish import larger. Sounds nice.

Last night a car full of us went to see 'The Cinematic Orchestra' at the
Cockpit in Leeds. Safe to say that it was some of the finest live music we
had seen in a long while. A 6 piece Jazz fusion collective.
A charismatic Buddy Rich style drummer lead most of the directions from
fast breakbeat through funk and pure Jazz breaks. Alongside, the anchor of
the band was provided by the solid bass playing skills of a seriously deep
bassets.
A young but soulful junior Diva took the mike pounding lyrics from the
hip. Her hip hop and the black gospel tinged vibes interlaced with the
freeform sax like brother and sister. The organic met the analogue with a
mo town mo wax thinking hammond organ player. The organics, met the
analogue, met the digital with none other than the original Ninja Tunes,
DJ Food's PC who gave it the licks on the decks and 606 squidge box.
Interestingly, the band had allowed itself not to be dominated by any
guitar. A refreshing absence for a 6 piece.
The cockpit was rammed, but not cramped, the captive audience, post student,
style crowd stood and grooved to the tripped out new sounds before them. As
always with a good gig, it was all over far to quickly. They have a few more
dates left in the UK, before they head out to Belgium. Catch em if you can.

Have you seen this monster?
Here's one for you.. ASDA (our local super market) had a display with an 9' Sully, and a 2.5' Mike from Monsters Inc. I took a watch cam photo of it in early September. I think it was a charity raffle. I just heard that the Mike model got stolen ! - begs the question, how come no one saw ! (not the sort of thing you can shove down your trousers).
Here is the picture I took for the watchcam secion of this site:

An experiment. This blog (and the photo) were created, and wazzed up the
web, withouth the use of a computer. A Casio WQV-10 watchcam and a Nokia
