Felix starts school

Felix’s first day at primary school pre-school today. Sounded like he loved it. He made cookies and ate them. His first thing that he did when he got there was to head from one of the computers (That’s my boy!). A teacher came up and started to explain.. “this is a mouse.. you move this about.. you put your finger on the button with the smiley face on it… ” Felix was like.. “yea yea yea – Can you get me onto the cbeebies website please” Bless him!

Misty has got a load of matted fur. She is off to the vets tomorrow to get shaved. (poor thing!) It’s either a dreadlocks cat or a skinz cat. Hmm – as long as she doesn’t get any tattoo’s of a swallow on her neck we will be fine.

[…] As this blog post reports, Felix started school 10 years ago today. He’s changed a fair bit since this blogs started. So has pretty much everything else.  10 years ago, the blog side of DragonDrop.org was mainly for words and the ‘watchcam’ section was the main event, whereI’d painstakingly download via infrared the uploaded via cuteFTP, thousands of tiny images from my WQV-10 watchcam. Back then, a mobile phone with a camera was unheard of and I loved the notion of always having a camera on me. I still do, although it’s in the form of a phone, nowadays.   I did do a lot of regular  short and snappy blogging – perhaps more frequent than my current average – until I embarqued on my  ’I'm going to blog every day’ mission, at least.
