Google maps is cool. Advert free, zoomable global to street level maps. It’s got the good bits from streetmap, multimap (Although the satellite view is loads better on multimap) and theaa route finder and rolled it into a new slick and easy to use site. Online maps – advantage – sophisticated levels of data, disadvantage – you can’t roll it up and take it to the car with you (unless you print the bits out that you need of course. A REALLY useful mapping feature is the traffic monitor functionality on getmethere.co.uk. It’s saved me getting snarled up in traffic a few times. Anyway. Maps rock.
