HAPPY NEW YEAR! We have whisked ourselves away to warmer climes and are in Tenerife. Annoyingly for you back in blighty its been about 24 deg today. Went to visit a 1000+ year old 'Dragon Tree@ today. Anyway.... see you all next week or rather next year.

In the past week I've taken over 1000 photos. It's been a week of contrasts!



Sunday, went to Alfie's 2nd Birthday party. He's our God Son and he's ace. He was feeling a little off colour which was a shame, but a good afternoon was had non the less.










Sunday morning I woke up in Newcastle. I went for a stroll. Nice city, took loads of photos but liked this one the best because of all the types of windows - even a trains windows.








Saturday night (and the reason I was up in Newcastle) I was taking photos for Blu Bambu. A huge (1400 capacity) club.







Cool VIP / cocktail bar - Flaming Lamorghini's rock (photographically!). May see if I can convince someone to make me one at FIRE!







Before going into the club I went for a wander round Newcastle and saw a thing that looked like Nelsons Column that projected huge balls of fire from the top every minute or so. It also made a really strange noise. Should have audio blogged it!





Friday evening I went out for a few scoops, before that I snapped this really odd photo of our cat Jasper









Friday early evening, I was taking some photos of cocktails for Montey's












Friday day - food & catering photography for an old folks home. Not a bad gig. I got to eat this pancake (along with quite a few of the other 'props')





Thursday - much the same as Friday,












Wednesday much the same as that.





My poor old Nikon is having a day off today.

I've just stuck yellow dots on a map of everywhere that people have had their photos taken wearing a DragonDrop adventure shirts, quite liked it so turned it into a wallpaper type thing. I'll update as I recieve new shots.

Ashen Just sent me this pic of himself sporting a rather fine T-Shirt up the hill that's nackering to walk up (been there done that!) in Prague - Charles Bridge is neatly perched on his left shoulder. Nice one! More DD adventure shirt shots here>>

Watched a great film last night. I know some folk hate the idea of subtitles, but I think restricting oneself to English only films is a shame. Set in Patagonia, Argentina the film lives in wide-open-space landscapes and real locations. A fantastic dog breed 'Dogo Argentino' takes a star role. Be sure to watch the extras. The Directors slant on the whole of film making is so refreshing.

I went to take photos at the launch of a new club in Rotherham last night called Blu Bamboo. They had that bloke off the telly Fran 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here' Cosgrove. Big club, quite busy for a Sunday. I was a bit stressed (because I'd left a vital battery in Harrogate) and in observer (rather than participant) mode but 'Rothers', although not displaying anything particularly new or groundbreaking, looked like it might be quite a good place for a night out.
