Stayed in last night with Sophie. Eirene went out on her first girly night out for months. She had a nice time by all accounts.

Very soon we’re off to Native State to try out their Sunday Roast. Something that they are very proud of. Locally sourced meat is the bit that did it for me. Also phrases like “everything fresh, from scratch, nothing plastic” also did it for me. The difference between bulk bought / supermarket meat and friendly local butchers meat is incredible. Last year we had friends round – we had some Lamb from ASDA, they has some from a local butchers – even looking at them side by side (cooked the same way) the difference was amazing – alongside the local butchers meat the ASDA meat was rank. Anyway – all this is slowing me down from getting my grub!
