This was such a lovely moment. You can say what you like about religion, we all have our own views – but Faith – now there’s a thing. I was in Otley first thing (seemed to be the only place in the Northern Hemisphere that had a stockist for some paper I needed) – The shop didn’t open for 20 minutes – right, though I, quick coffee. Installed myself in a little cafe window – with this view and watched the world go by. I watched the little old lady hobble up, regard the cross and stop for a quiet moment of prayer. The world stopped. I snapped it just after. I’m glad I didn’t snap the actual moment of prayer, but observing it moved me.
