Just a really quick update – Jaygo travelled from York Hospital to Harrogate Hospital today (by Ambulance) and we are really pleased that he is closer to home. We are waiting on some results from a blood test to see if his anti coagulation injections are ‘doing the job’ at the moment and trying to pin down when he may be able to come home. I’m going in to visit him after work. He’s got about 5 weeks of intravenous antibiotic treatment left and we’ll probably be trained on how to do this as well as his injections and continue his care plan at home. If you’d like to visit him now he’s back in H’gate – please contact one of us first for the time being.
