Spent the best parts of Saturday and Sunday at Bobbybee’s campsite near Filey. We’ve been to Bobbybee’s once or twice before and have now firmly wedged it into one of our favourite camp sites on the planet. Very laid back, informal and chilled place. We were blessed with what was perhaps summer’s last hurrah and enjoyed glorious weather – producing a spectacular sunset, pictured above. We got to hang out with a bunch of old friends, including these two ninny glasses:
The area is one of the biggest wheat-growing regions in the country and the farmers were making hay whilst the sun shone, and when it didn’t – getting the crop in right around the clock. Made me think to think twice next time I’m buying a loaf of bread from the supermarket for just over £1.
Followed the signs for “Dog Walk” bright and early on Sunday morning. We qualify for this activity now you seen, having bought a dog especially.
Wondering how long it’ll be before we see a sky as blue as this again.
