Last Tuesday I got to do a combo of two of my (many) fave things – eat food and take photos. It’s been a while since I’ve had a photography gig, but I’d volunteered to be involved in this one. We’re doing a recipe book at work that involves Dales inspired food. I wanted Geoffrey Boycottage Pie, it didn’t make the cut unfortunately. Several amazing dishes did though including a lamb and ginger number – A parkin crust on a leg-o-lamb, that we all thought would be weird, and it was, but in a good way.
Fraser (chef, bone carver, extraordinaire – and old friend ) was drafted in as the cookmeister, I got to take photos which I’ll use shortly to design the book with. One of the unfortunate things about cooking food is that it creates a lot of waste. Something that we couldn’t bring ourselves to live with, so purely for environmental purposes, we ate it. All. Non left. Nada. Zip. All gone. Yum. Yum. Nomnomnom.
Have a nosey at the photos I took by clicking this very link.
