These photos are not edited – they are ‘straight out of the camera’. I’d used slide film – Fujichrome Provia 100f and asked a lab to process it through standard C41 process chemicals. The obliged. The results are this strange colour cast – greenish with punchy reds. I like it. It’s called ‘cross processing’ or XPRO for short. A really constructive, creative day today – I’m quite drained now. I poured the main chunk of the day into some design I’m doing for my day job whilst listening to a new and most excellent tech/house mix by Sander Kleinenberg called This is Everybody Too. At lunch I popped into town (slow bimble, still not very nimble bimble of a walk) where I snapped stranger #002 for my 100 strangers project that I blogged about a few days ago before dropping the film in.
Jenny. The girl with the red fringe. She was filing up the charity sweet dispensers in pubs. I’ve also got shot #003 lined up for tomorrow – you’re only allowed to submit one per day to the group.
Create. Observe. Create. Document. Loop.
Further adventures in cross processing, a set on Flickr.
