Day 3 and we were blessed with quite a lot of Annie’s eyes today. Albeit slightly confused and out of focus but still – we got to see those peepers. Quite dark with the blue tinge, but I suspect they will go brown like her mama’s and sisters. Beautiful. A few of the photos – especially this one – have raised a few comments that she looks a lot like her sister Sophie. I can’t quite see it myself but I guess she does a bit. Annie has just been to a parents evening with us. We got mobbed.
It’s been quite a day with quite an early start – I’ve been for a consultation with a doctor. About a vasectomy. There. I’ve said it. We’ve hit critical mass / optimal weight on our family now and I’m very happy with my lot. I’m looking to go to a surgery in Leyburn, North Yorkshire who offer procedure called a ‘No Scalpel Vasectomy’. A cunning bit of branding that’s totally bowled me over. It’s not only telling me that they don’t use a scalpel, in an area I’d rather knifes didn’t go to anyway (thank you very much), they’re also saying that the other vasectomy practitioners use a scalpel. Where do I sign?
I’m probably going to track the progress of project my trip to the Man Vet’s for a Spey, I’ll tag them vasectomy. The only down side is that I have to wait a while. I was rather hoping that the Doctor this morning would say ‘Yes Mr Watson, we’ll book you in, in about later today – in fact a space has just come up if you’d like to walk this way..’ (If I could walk that way, I… ). Alas, I’ve got to wait a while.
Having committed to the above, I treat myself to a new
toy device to blog with – which I’ve used to blog this very post on.. a Google Nexus 7 hooked up to my bluetooth wireless keyboard. All very good. Anyhoo – I’ve got a radio show to do. Laters.
