We nominated 2 Godparents for Annie Mo today. Eirene is in charge of the formal theological side of our younglings, but the selection proposed was wholeheartedly agreed to by me. (R&D). A lovely couple who head up a lovely family. We’ve just had them and theirs round for a Sunday roast which (even though I say so my self) was pretty darn special on the food front which was only overshadowed by the lovely company. Annie got thoroughly cuddled.
This was on the back of a great morning of geocaching with Felix (a son) and Elsie (a dog). We found a brilliantly disguised geocache and did a multi cache round Nidd Gorge. The cache I planted yesterday (see blog), it turns out, was pipped to the post by another cacher who planted a cache 42m away from mine just before I got there. Never mind – I’ve got a ready made cache to plant somewhere else.
Loving this extra portion of day we’re starting to get. I’d almost forgotten about being able to do stuff outside of an evening. The thing about summer is – we may not get as much guaranteed heat and dry as we’d
