Big Ben chimed midnight. The new year arrived. Matt had completed his 365 mission and we were celebrating with our good friends in Great Ouseburn. A thought niggled at me. What about all the people who read Dragondrop every day, it would be a shame to stop the daily blogs. Then a terrifying idea hit me. Perhaps I could take up the 365 mantel, write a blog every day. It would mean taking a leap from my comfort zone. It’s been ages since I have written anything other then school governors reports. I feel like I have been in prose hibernation. So this year it’s time to stretch my writing muscles, come out of my cave, feel the fear and do it anyway. I look forward to learning lots along the way about blogging, uploading pictures, and different topics. There are going to be lots of hurdles in my path like time management to blog, staying dedicated and being patient with my slow computer however it does feel great to be using my brain again.
Our first day in 2014 was spent at Matt’s lovely Aunt’s. We were treated to a fantastic buffet and then relaxed and chatted till late afternoon when we headed back to Dragondrop laden with yummy treats. Definitely a fantastic start to the year.
