Today we visited the farmers market at St Dogmaels. After tasting and testing many different varieties of pasta we settled on buying the beetroot and garlic with smoked ham filling and spinach with goats cheese filling handmade tortellini. Previously I had always served tortellini with sauce but the stall vendor assured me the filling is the sauce so I didn’t fuss about and just served with locally grown tomato and cucumber salad. The fact everybody was in the clean plate club was testament to how lovely the pasta was.
