Today we visited Roundhay Park. We walked around the lake on a very buggy and dog friendly route. At the top of the lake was a little playground which although there wasn’t much equipment the children all had lots of fun in. I must try to remember to bring bread to feed the ducks as Annie loves watching them dipping and diving whilst Sophie and Jay love feeding them.
I was recounting to Jay the halcyon days of sitting at the top of the hill in the sunshine watching bands play for free at the Heiniken festival.
Jay nodded sagely then commented,’Like the maneuver’.
‘Pardon?’I replied.
‘You know’, he answered, ‘the heiniken maneuver’.
‘ Jay darling, that’s the heimlich maneuver not the Heiniken maneuver.’ Although thinking about it now, it could be called the ‘heiniken maneuver’ when ordering a pint at the pub.
Later on Tinana and Mr S. visited. Matt cooked a wonderful roast which everyone enjoyed, apart from Elsie, as there was hardly any leftovers for her to dispose of.
This is fantastic…as are you all x
