Sophie and I were walking home today when we discovered a ladybird party. More ladybirds then either of us had ever seen in one place at one time had gathered on a sign and on the next few signs along the path. Sophie took one of the ladybirds home to eat the aphids on our rose bush. Maybe we should have rehomed a few more as it looks like the aphids are also getting into the festive theme and having an aphid party on our roses.
