Annie and her friend Ozzie had a wonderful time at Harrogate and Knaresborough Toy Library’s outdoor play session. At £3 a session they really are very good value. The sun shone and it was the perfect day to spend some time outside playing in mud and water and generally having a fantastic time. Annie and Ozzie borrowed waterproofs and wellies from a well stocked pile. This meant they were then free to get as wet and muddy as they liked on the outside without worry of wet clothes and getting cold. Liz read Julia Donaldson’s ‘Stick Man’ and all the children waved their sticks at the appropriate time. The mum’s ate biscuits and drank steamy beverages whilst the children ate dried apricots and bread sticks and drank juice before heading home for a well earned nap.
