Jay funny
Jay was talking about his ribs aching today. Apparently the pain is mainly located in his ‘intercontinental’ muscles.

Today I sold lots of my old vintage clothes to a vintage shop near by. I could have got lots more money for them if I sold each item on eBay, but I just haven’t got the desire to nurture and check my eBay site each day so i felt the vintage shop was the most lucrative option available. As… Read more →
I have been on a bit of a spending spree. I get a little carried away when I am Christmas shopping as so much money is being spent what does a little more matter? I was thinking of doing a bag haul video and it made me giggle. Normally bag hauls blogs on YouTube have clothes and make up but… Read more →
I have always liked the feeling silk and satin. As a child I had a snuggley blanket. I used to rub it’s silky edge against my nose for comfort. I love silken pj’s and as of today I now have a silky bed. As soon as I had replaced the old bed linen with my new purchase I dived on… Read more →
Jay was walking backwards and fell over, his mate fell heavily on top of him and Jay was unable to get up even after his mate had moved. Half past one this afternoon I received a panicked call from school asking me to come and collect Jay to bring him to a&e. Luckily Matt was able to leave work early… Read more →
Today I have been mostly eating yummy food Matt has cooked, seeing a good friend and looking at stunning pictures of Marakesh. Designing our Christmas cards and looking at beauty advent calenders and thinking how lovely but how expensive. I have been learning how to use Google talk, trying to not feel ridiculous doing so, and doing my best to… Read more →
Here is a picture of Donna taking Annie-Mo and Bruce, Elsie’s best friend for a walk. Annie-mo looks so cute. We had a lovely walk and then sat on a bench in a field to eat chocolate Danishes. A golden lab retriever came and stole Annie’s Danish right out of her hand. I couldn’t help laughing at her expression of… Read more →
Tonight was the opening of our new local,10Devonshire Place. Matt and I bobbed by in between scouts drop off and pick up to check out what was on offer. I am sat, instilled in a rare moment of peace. Annie is asleep, Matt is working, Sophie is at a friends, Felix is at music club and Jay won’t be home till later. The house is silent apart from at quiet bubble of eggs on the stove and the hum the fridge cooling down. From where I am sat at… Read more →
Today Nanty Nina visited bringing yummy treats for the whole family. Annie was particularly enamoured with the almond croissants but was still happy to share with Nanty Nina.
Here is a picture of my biggest child and my littlest child. Annie had her arm wrapped around Felix’s leg and they stood like that by the door for ages. The sight made my heart feel full of warmth and love.
The time for clearing is upon me yet again. This time it’s getting serious. All my old set lists, writings, big snuggley grey boots, all heading towards the door. I would like a massive skip and then I could just bin the lot and it would be gone before I can change my mind. I have been a bit sneaky… Read more →
Annie has her own unique way of saying banana. It sounds a little like ‘ blalalalalalalalalala’. It’s very cute and everyone in the house gets her to say it as often as possible. Here is a picture of her modeling her new potty. I hope she doesn’t try to do this at home.
Our house is full. Full of my things, Matt’s things, the children’s things and things from both our parents houses. I often try to clear some of it but that just seems to leave space for more stuff to enter. On Sunday I bought lots of boxes to hide some of the stuff in. Whilst filing the stuff into the… Read more →
