We did London last week. Our first trip away from the boys – they stayed at home whilst the girls and I (sans Elsie dog) went to London. I’ll have more on that via the medium of film photography with a bit of luck. In summary, we did London Zoo, London Eye, Horniman Museum, Crystal Palace Dinosaur Park, the Science Museum (including the special Robot temporary exhibition) and a few parks and walks. All superb. We caught up with some friends and had a jolly nice time.
Breaking up the journey, we stopped off at the National Space Center. Someone on one of my social notworks said they call it the National ACE Centre which I liked. The picture is an unfettered snap of Annie. They’ve got a bycycle seat bolted to the wall to give the effect (when photographed from the right angle) that she’s floating.
As luck would have it, our half term (North Yorkshire) was different to a lot of the rest of the country, so things were perhaps a tad quieter than they would have been.
