Felix, our first boy spent his birthday with us yesterday. We had a tip top day, but the best thing about it was (nearly – with the exception of Jaygo who’s in the UK) that we all spent it together.
In the morning, we went to The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, in the afternoon and evening we went on a desert Safari where Felix and LIsa got to ride a camel. We saw some shows, ate some good food and had a jolly nice time.
Today we’ve been up the worlds tallest building – the Burj Khalifa. Spectacular views, followed by me cooking a rather tasty curry (even though I do say so myself) for us all.

Like all times when you’re having lots of fun, it’s flying by far too quickly. We’ve really enjoyed having Felix and Lisa in town: a./ because they are great and b./ because we’ve been able to act like tourists.
Still a few days left of fun in the sun left for us. We’ve got a few plans ahead – like a Friday Brunch tomorrow and Dragon Boat racing (which Eirene has got into) on Sunday.
Hi Matt, Felix has certainly grown. Beautiful family.
Super-glad you’ve got your Blog fixed mate. Happy Birthday, Felix!
