Residual self image

Residual self image

I’ve updated my residual self image in the internets. I’ve updated LinkedIn, Skype and Twitter (prolly got a couple more networks to go, but..) this evening, I updated Facebook with it as my profile pic. I quite like it (that’s why). I shot it on August the 9th this year, it’s called “Selfie with dog”. I shot it on Kodak… Read more →

Poor attempt at a DIY neg scanner

Poor attempt at a DIY neg scanner

I’ve been to London and back today. I’ve done this many times before, but it still feels weird when I go to London and come back in a day. It feels even weirder when I’m out of the house for a normal time frame. I had very civilised train times today – 09:05 out of Harrogate, back in Harrogate for… Read more →

Me and my dad. Christmas, 1984.

Me and my dad. Christmas, 1984.

It’s from a  Japanese word that concerns the aesthetic qualities of ‘the blur’ / out of focus region of a photograph. To really push the boundaries of bokeh, you need to make your depth of field… Read more →

Brown Eyes

Brown Eyes

Lovely service. Good ol’ sing song. From there we headed up to our friends house near Nidd. There was about 20 – 30… Read more →

The view from my office window

The view from my office window

I was moved to a new desk today. It’s the third desk I’ve had since I started my new job three weeks ago. Deffo my fave desk out the three. I’m rather hoping I’ll stay there as it’s right next to the window. I’m a big fan of windows. The image above was created using an iPhone on HDR mode… Read more →
