Modern round building with a metallic facade beside older domed buildings on a waterfront

Came across this project to be.

The idea is re-generate Liverpool city centre - 4 designs were put forward, utilising the same space. A magnificent space, on the Mersey river just along from the Liver Building in Liverpool. The centre of already has some wildly contrasting architecture - all 'best of breed' stuff. Such an important city in history deserves it's project namesake - "Fourth Grace [2026 review : Oops, dead now. Get well soon]".

The winner - Alsop. Not sure I agree that this is the most visually appealing – In my opinion, Rogers, had a far tastier design.

Here's another rendering of the fantastic Rogers design

A lot of UK cites are undergoing a major overhaul at the moment (out of the ones I visit, London, Leeds and Birmingham, as well as others).. It's like sim city, in real life.
