We've popped over to Dublin for a few days. Quite nice to have a break from the norm for a few days. Had a (mainly) ace weekend. After a night out on Friday I made amends for things on Saturday night by cooking a superb mussels dish (sort of like this recipe [2026 review : Oops, dead now. Get well soon]). The next day we had Eirene's birthday which turned into an impromptu dinner party. I'd cooked a remaining 2 pints of mussles that I'd had left over as a chowder (using kippers as the stock base - worked really well!). Food food food. You can tell I'm hungry. Just ordered a chinese though so that's good. Righty - toodle pip for now.
