RIP Misty catSee this and more of my photos on Flickr ›
We just had to say farewell to our Misty, a 13+ year old Persian cat. Above is her last ever photo, snapped this morning before we took her to the vet. She was such a poppet but unfortunately her health was in rapid decline and we didn't want her to suffer. I'll spare you the detail - she was starting to fall to bits, but kidneys mainly - she'd been put on a special food a while ago and we were warned that it would only serve to give her a bit more time, and that time came to an end. Here's my two favorite photos of her - this first is of her in her prime a few years ago - showing her beautiful eyes..
..and this second is of her sat in a Noah's Ark. Bless her. She was a good dog.
