Aren't hand me downs brilliant. Annie-Mo has just been on the receiving end of a massive bag a baby toys, a new outdoor suit and sleeping bag. Pi is ecstatic with her new hand me down dress. The thing is that when we are finished with the toys and clothes then we will hand them on to the next people who have a baby and a little girl the right age. Then when they are finished with them they will hand them on and so on and so on. Its a lovely thing to be part of. Some of Sophie's things have been around a few other babies and made their way back for Annie-Mo to use. The most iconic is a little pair of gold doc martens boots. Felix's friend Eli had them first then Jaygo then Pi and Nell then back to Dragondrop to await Annie's feet to get big enough. Children's feet grow so fast that the boots look like they have hardly been worn but they hold so much history. And when Annie grows out of them then there will be another little person waiting in the wings partake in the gold doc legacy.
