Spring

Two frogs in pond water among reeds and duckweed

Warmth and sunshine filled today with a most mellow, spring like air. Out without coats and with no claggy mud sucking at our wellies, Matt, Annie and I enjoyed an Elsie walk down by the river. It does feel like we have turned a corner on the cold dampness of winter and are freewheeling into the fresh newness of spring. No doubt lady weather still has a few surprises in store for us but I am content to enjoy the good weather while it lasts.
This is a picture taken from my friend Mrs Moon's  allotment. It looks like the frogs are making the most of the warmth and good weather too.

This post may actually be written by Matt. There was an issue (long story) to do with when I converted from Blogger to WordPress.
