There is only one more day left of school till the summer holidays are upon us. It will be good to not have to get Sophie to school on time and no need for stringent bedtimes. It's nice to walk Elsie in the hols as it means we definitely have to get out of the house whatever the weather. I think click and collect shopping will be invaluable, saving me from hours of soul destroying trawling around Asda trying to prevent Sophie from 'needing' everything in sight whilst I end up buying nothing we actually require. Tomorrow I shall have one last coffee in peace, I may even treat myself to an almond croissant to build up the energy for the six Weeks ahead. I bet I won't be the only mama in there holding tight to the last few seconds of school term.
