The Stray Fair

Bumper cars with riders on a funfair ride under coloured lights

Every August bank holiday a funfair sets up camp on the Stray. On Thursday the rides cost £1 so with pocket money tightly gripped sweaty hands the children and I headed down to try out the attractions. Annie and I had a ride on a mini rollercoaster and the carousel. Little lady wasn't sure what to make of it with their surprising up and down and spinny round motion.  She and held on very tight to me and looked quite worried for most of the time. Felix and Sophie shared a bumper car and Jay went on everything. Sophie introduced Annie to candy floss and Jay tried to win her a unicorn.
Below are some pictures of Sophie and Felix on the dodgems.
