We went for a family outing today 'up the Chevin' near Otley. Elsie dog (who must be a babe in dog land) attracted the attentions of a shaggy young pup. A Golden Labradoodle. I don't know if he just wanted her for her stick or not, but their frolicking was quite a thing to behold on valentines day.
Poignant reminders off how blessed we are adorned the cliff tops in the form of little posies of flowers here and there, remembering loved ones who've left the world behind.
How blessed indeed. Just had a lovely meal (even though I say so myself having cooked it) of surf and turf with my lovely wife. The kids left us alone for it. Mostly.
