Standing on the shoulders of giants- Some photos that I didn't take
Photographer Nicola Radford took a series of photos over the past week or two of mainly Eirene but some with Sophie. Eirene was keen to snapshot this point in her life, at the poignant bookmark of 39 weeks pregnant.…
- Winter's last huraah
There's this phrase - probably borderline 'old wives' tale' territory, that's been on the periphery of my thoughts at a certain time of year for the past few years; "Summer's last huraah". It epitomises the Indian…
LOMO LC-A test rollWho says you have to wait ages to see the results from shooting film? Got camera at 18:00 yesterday and by 17:30 today, I was looking at photos from a test roll I shot last night and this morning. I wanted to check that…

- British Pie Week
Some of the National Weeks are hearty, wholesome things that deserve a place on the mantle of our collective culture, like British Pie Week. The pie is deeply engrained in our culinary roots. It deserves to be a…
S C High & Tide Camera 'Bussiness' WatchThe typo on the box is to distract you from the tiny camera hole in the number 6 on the face. I used to be kind of a 'big deal' in the watchcam world. I used to run the worlds leading forum on watchcams (specifically…
Braxton Hicks on Yorkshire Beard DayI think I would have quite liked my new Daughter to be born on Yorkshire Beard Day. We stepped up to amber alert status earlier as Eirene (39 week pregnant wife) started having regular contractions. Turns out they were…
