- Quarter way in.. DD365
I'm over quarter way in. 3 months of non stop daily blogging into my 'blog every day this year' project. This year already, I've created more posts than I did in the whole of 2009 and I've probably put more words - and…
Giz a go on your bike?I had one of those conversations earlier that triggered a warm glow of nostalgia. You know the feeling. The feeling you get when you and a bunch of approximate peers reminisce about stuff from when you were kids.…
- Ron "Typewriter" Mingo
I'm in awe of this guy. As well as MC Hammer's baseball coach, he's was a pro baseball player, an American footballer, boxer and George Foreman's sparring partner. His main claim to fame though (as if the MC Hammer…

S C High & Tide Camera 'Bussiness' WatchThe typo on the box is to distract you from the tiny camera hole in the number 6 on the face. I used to be kind of a 'big deal' in the watchcam world. I used to run the worlds leading forum on watchcams (specifically…
Braxton Hicks on Yorkshire Beard DayI think I would have quite liked my new Daughter to be born on Yorkshire Beard Day. We stepped up to amber alert status earlier as Eirene (39 week pregnant wife) started having regular contractions. Turns out they were…

Further adventures in fisheyeA lomography fisheye is a marvellous bit of kit. It's got a 170 degree super wide angle lens. I'd loaded it with an out of date roll of German film called Paradises 200, stuck a ringflash on the front with 4 different…
Top 10 niche groups on FlickrAs far as social networking goes, flickr is undoubtedly, my all time fave. It's defiantly the network I've spent the most time on. Like so many other flickreenos, photography is something I've been 'into', boder-line…
Feeling a little horseYes, I imagine that all of the extra public speaking the supermarket and now Ikea bosses have been doing recently over the horse meat in our food scandal has left them feeling a little horse. What gets me is - why…
Further adventures in cross processingThese photos are not edited - they are 'straight out of the camera'. I'd used slide film - Fujichrome Provia 100f and asked a lab to process it through standard C41 process chemicals. The obliged. The results are this…
Homoeopathic BirthHomoeopathy : photo by yuki* Tonight, Eirene and I went for a specialist homoeopathic birthing consultation. Eirene (now 37+ weeks) is a firm believer in homoeopathy and wants to use it to help her through the birthing…
- Follow, like and reblog features on a wordpress self hosted site
There are two flavors of the Wordpress Content Management System. There's the wordpress.org self hosted solution - as used for this very blog, and there's the wordpress.com hosted solution. I'm normally a glass half…
100 StrangersI stumbled across a fascinating sounding project today, so I though I'd give it a go. It's called 100 strangers . Participants are to approach 100 people and ask if they can take their photo. If they say yes, They're to…
