FIRE L

Harrogate Fringe Festival Grand Finale : 31st July 2010 : 9pm - 4am The official after party to the All Day Fringe-Crawl Music Day FIRE This being the 50th event for the dance music heavyweights, it's sure to be a belter. Since 2003, party people of Harrogate and beyond have taken the roof off this legendary party that showcases the cream of local DJ talent, accompanied by live instrumentalists, and a circus of pyro guys and gals and performance artistes. A mashup of underground sound from around the world raises the heat from down tempo to techno, house to bootleg, funk to daft punk through state-of-the-art sound and vision equipment. Chuck another log on it. VS BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE In its 9th year of skulduggery. Bottom of the Bottle has long supported local music at the heavier end of the spectrum. For this night it presents two of the towns finest talents, Massive Taxi and their spiky take on Alternative Rock plus Drowned in Flames with their brutal yet tuneful metal ragings. With resident DJ Trev at the helm rocking it from Punk to Metal with forays into Emo, Dubstep, Hardcore and beyond, Bottom of the Bottle is a beast of a night waiting to chew you up and spit you out dazed, confused and happy - and only a bit covered in spit.
